Kiki sat amidst the spruce
I'm mighty bored, she said
If things remain as dull as this
I'll go stand on my head
Then suddenly a tiny cub
Into her back yard tumbled
And Kiki sprang forth in delight
So fast, she almost stumbled
What great fortune, little cub
Said Kiki in fond greeting
If it's a playful friend you seek
This is a lucky meeting!
Then Kiki shook her wine-hued locks
And scrunched a little frown
If his lovely cub has come to play
His mom must be in town!
She ran into her house again
With boredom far behind
And peering through the window
Saw two bears reunite
And Kiki, safe inside her room
Reflected now in glee
That there is wonder everywhere
If we but learn to see
The Enchanted Forest
