Below is our core repertory list for Celtic Duo weddings selected by Bert and Dorothy Barth:
- Any of the Prelude songs could also be used as a Processional for the bride or wedding party.
- The Prelude repertory is more than generous to cover the 30 minutes of Prelude music that we provide.
- Any of the lively Postlude songs could also be used as a Recessional.
- There is a scattering of Old English songs in the list below--all tunes whose ambiance is a lovely fit for the Celtic theme.
Please note that our Celtic repertory is much larger than the list below, but we have identified these tunes as being especially suitable for weddings.
FOR CELTIC MUSIC LOVERS: Bert and Dorothy Barth have also published six albums of duo arrangements of Celtic music under the Kammeraderie label. Those interested in hearing this music can do so on YouTube or Spotify. We can supplement the repertory with some of these selections; we especially recommend Green - Songs That Celebrate Our Natural World.
Playford Promenade is not Celtic but Old English; however, it was arranged especially for weddings and is quite unique.
