The following nine Irish, Scottish, and Welsh traditional tunes were recorded on 6/21/2019 by Dorothea Barth. They have been especially selected to to make beautiful and serene processionals for couples who wish to incorporate an Irish/Scottish theme for their wedding. All of these tunes are well known and well loved. They are short enough for shorter processionals, but can be repeated and varied for longer processionals.
Suggestions:
(1) Select your favorite tune(s) for your processional(s). You may want to have a separate processional for (a) seating of the mothers (optional),
(b) bridesmaids/groomsmen, and (c) bride.
(2) Some couples also choose a meditative tune for mid-ceremony, such for unity candle lighting, meditation, wine ceremony, etc. This is entirely optional.
(3) I can include some of the remaining tunes (the tunes you did not select for your processionals) into the Prelude music. I typically play 30 minutes of Prelude music before the ceremony begins, while guests are gathering.
